Welcome!
I am a Visiting Assistant Professor of Political Science at Washington & Jefferson College. My teaching and research interests include American political parties, Congress, elections, and representation. My book project examines the effects of the education realignment on American political party position taking.
I received my PhD and MA in Political Science from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. Before beginning my graduate career, I received my BA in History and Political Science at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY in 2015. This followed my upbringing in the Adirondack foothills of upstate New York.
My research has been published in Politics, Groups, and Identities.
